Journal SEAMUS is a publication made for and by the SEAMUS community published bi-annually since 1989. Its electroacoustic (EA) music-centric and adjacent articles range from theoretical analyses and technical papers to interviews, conference and recording reviews, and practical music technology tips.

Submission Instructions
Interested contributors should submit manuscripts electronically to journal [at] seamusonline.org. Microsoft Word is the preferred format. If another word processor is used, files should be saved in rich text format (RTF) with an accompanying PDF version. Main articles are generally 2,000 to 6,000 words. Submissions are restricted to SEAMUS members. Click here for detailed instructions.
Current Calls for Submissions
Journal SEAMUS is actively seeking submissions of new articles for future issues, especially in the following areas:
- Articles: We invite paper presenters at SEAMUS 2025 to consider submitting your paper for publication as an article in Journal SEAMUS.
- Reviews: We are seeking short reviews of the SEAMUS 2025 National Conference (March 21-24, 2025). Length and format is flexible; accompanying photos encouraged. See previous issues for examples.
- Tips and Tricks: We are interested in short articles on current trends in electroacoustic music and tutorials for our “Tips and Tricks” series. Articles can focus on any current software or hardware platform.
