RENEWING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
Welcome back renewing member! Please note the FAQs at the bottom of the page to help you renew.
We are looking forward to another exciting year at SEAMUSonline.org. We have been working on a number of new benefits to your membership, including an online catalogue of your works, and a searchable database of your compositions for performers of EA music. In keeping with our efforts to create more benefits of membership to our performer members, you can now differentiate whether you are a composer, performer, or both on your member profile. Don’t forget to visit your profile page, and update us with any new information you want to share, including your locations on social media. These are represented on your searchable SEAMUS profile, so let the world know where to reach you!
Please note: renewals can be made once your current payment period has expired.
Please be advised that our system cannot accept automated renewal payments from PayPal. If you think you have set up a renewal payment, please change your payment setup, and let our Vice President of Membership know at [email protected]. They’ll need to make a change in the system manually or your membership will not go through!
If you renewed since August of 2014, you can simply log in and choose to renew your current membership. Please make sure your payment information is current. Payment renewals can occur once the previous year is complete. Your account and profile data will remain on our servers.
If you are a returning member, but haven’t had an active membership since we migrated to the new database on this site, you will need to create a new account. This means that SEAMUSonline.org will not recognize your old username. In this case, you must create an account as if you are joining anew. You can use your previous username, if you wish, as long as it is available. You will not need to recreate this account for future renewals.

When can I renew my membership?
Renewals cannot be made until your previous year subscription has expired. Once the expiration date has been reached, you will be able to renew.
Where can I see my expiration date?
Click on the “Edit Your Membership” link in the sidebar. If you have an active membership, you will see the membership type (e.g. “Professional, Domestic”) and the date listed in the box at the top of the page.
Should I cancel my membership in order to renew?
No. Please wait until your previous subscription has expired and then renew your subscription.
Will I receive a notification when my membership has expired?
Yes. You will receive an email reminding you that your membership has expired, and that you should log in to renew.
Are recurring payments through PayPal supported?
No. Due to an incredible number of issues with that system, we are no longer accepting recurring payments through PayPal.
Who should I contact if I have questions regarding my membership?
Questions about creating an account, paying, renewing, or managing your profile through the website should be sent to the Director of Technological Development, Becky Brown. All questions concerning your membership benefits or membership itself should be sent to the Abby Aresty, Vice President of Membership.
