Short Bio
Dr. Jonah Elrod is a composer whose works are inspired by and engage with issues surrounding the environment and our human perception of the natural world. His music has been performed at numerous new music festivals including the Society of Composers, Inc. National Conference, the Hot Air Music Festival, the TUTTI Festival, the New Music Gathering, and the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Music at Grand Rapids Community College and is the Chair of the Iowa Composers Forum.
