This piece is intended for a very large space and is channeled for 3D quad with two subs (so quad arrangement up high in a balcony or ceiling mount, quad arrangement on the floor, and two subs (L,R) on the floor as well.  Specific channeling and routing for this configuration is provided in the score.  It can also be performed in a standard quadrophonic arrangement as well as in traditional stereo though many subtle spatial elements of the piece will be lost with less than a quadrophonic setup.

The 8 channels can also be mapped to any large ambisonic performance space (in the rare case this is available).

Specific channeling and routing for the mics on the performer are detailed in the score.
